3. Information We Collect

When you contact us or submit a domain inquiry, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your company name, if provided.
  • The contents of your message.
  • The domain name you are interested in.
  • Your selected inquiry type (purchase or lease).
  • The domain price recorded when your inquiry was submitted.
  • The date and time of your inquiry.

We may also process limited technical information necessary to operate and protect our websites, such as IP addresses, browser information, and server request logs.

We do not require visitors to create an account or provide payment information to submit an inquiry.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to questions and inquiries.
  • Communicate about domain purchases and leasing opportunities.
  • Manage correspondence with prospective customers.
  • Protect our websites and forms against spam, automated abuse, and security threats.
  • Maintain reliable website operations.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Where applicable, our legal bases for processing include taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and operating a secure website, and compliance with legal obligations.

We do not use information submitted through inquiry forms to send unsolicited marketing emails.

Submitting an inquiry does not constitute a confirmed purchase, lease, or reservation.

5. Email Communications

Inquiries submitted through Namemill are delivered through Google Workspace.

We use the following addresses:

  • info@namemill.com — general inquiries.
  • sales@namemill.com — purchase and lease inquiries.

Messages and related correspondence may be retained in our Google Workspace email accounts.

We do not currently maintain a separate customer or inquiry database for these submissions.

We do not automatically send confirmation emails to visitors after they submit an inquiry.

6. Cloudflare Turnstile

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our inquiry forms against automated submissions and malicious activity.

Turnstile may process technical signals, including IP addresses, browser characteristics, user-agent information, and other security-related data, to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic.

These checks may operate invisibly without requiring visitors to complete a traditional CAPTCHA.

For information about Cloudflare's handling of Turnstile data, please review the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Website Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors interact with Namemill and our domain landing pages, identify popular content, and improve our websites.

Plausible collects information such as pages visited, referral sources, browser and device types, approximate geographic location, and general engagement metrics.

Plausible does not use cookies, local storage, or persistent visitor identifiers. IP addresses and browser User-Agent information are processed to generate short-lived visitor identifiers but are not stored in their original form.

Analytics information is used to understand website traffic and performance, not to identify individual visitors or build advertising profiles.

Analytics data is processed and stored within the European Union.

For more information, see the Plausible Analytics Data Policy.

7. Service Providers and International Processing

We use third-party services to operate and protect Namemill, including:

  • Google Workspace for email communications.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile for automated abuse prevention.
  • Website hosting and infrastructure providers for delivering and maintaining the websites.

These providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence.

Where applicable data protection laws require safeguards for international transfers, we will apply the required safeguards.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We may disclose information where required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

8. Data Retention

We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests and manage related correspondence.

In determining appropriate retention periods, we consider whether an inquiry remains active, whether follow-up communication is reasonably expected, and whether legal obligations or potential legal claims require continued retention.

Information no longer needed for these purposes will be deleted in accordance with our retention practices.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss.

Access to inquiry correspondence is limited to persons authorized to manage Namemill communications.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
